CLIENT: Hogar Heating | PROJECT: Logo design and branding My client approached me to look at his logo design as he'd had one designed previously (which he wasn't 100 percent on board with) and wasn't sure what to do next. We decided to do a redesign rather than work with what we had and really look at doing something a bit different to most of the other plumbing companies out there. I came up with a concept to use a degree symbol in the name to replace the "O" in “Hogar” and made it so we could use a key colour to highlight this element of the logotype. The result was a modern, clean logo that reflects the professionalism of quality of the work his company does. After this I helped with the brand building and application for business cards and workwear. I later built a Squarespace site for Hogar Heating to link up with his Google profile. My client's company name has Spanish roots and translates to terms like "cosy", "warmth", "homely" as well as "home" and "hearth/fireside" - I made sure that the site was clean like the brand I'd created but also reflected what the company is about with friendly imagery and copy.
